On Saturday, October 26th 2024, we gathered at dusk for a deeply transformative celebration of the changing seasons during Embodying the Divine Feminine: A Priestess-Led Ceremony with the radiant Priestesses Jilli Ray Goldman and Kristi Williamson.
This sacred evening offered us an inward journey of healing and self-discovery through embodied movement, sacred song, and powerful ceremony. We began by setting our intentions, grounding ourselves in the sacred space, and aligning with the energy of the evening. Guided intuitively by the Priestesses, the ceremony responded to the unique energy of the group, creating a profoundly moving and connected experience.
Throughout the ceremony, sacred songs and music enriched the space, uplifting our spirits and deepening our connection to the divine feminine within. Specialized musical instruments, including chimes, drums, and other ceremonial tools, added resonance and beauty, amplifying the healing energy.
A cacao ceremony invited us to open our hearts and connect deeply to our intentions, infusing the gathering with warmth, love, and connection. This act helped unify our energies and prepare us for the release and renewal to come.
We also created trauma bundles, small symbolic offerings representing the energies, emotions, and patterns we were ready to let go of. These bundles, infused with personal intentions, were later offered to the sacred fire in a powerful act of release. Witnessing the transformation of our bundles in the flames was a deeply cathartic and healing moment, symbolizing a profound renewal.
The energy of release flowed into sacred movement and dance, where we celebrated our connection to our bodies and the divine feminine energy through intentional and intuitive movement. This allowed us to fully embody the power and freedom of our inner selves.
The ceremony concluded with libations, snacks, and community sharing, fostering a space for grounding, reflection, and connection. We left feeling renewed, empowered, and deeply connected to ourselves and one another—a beautiful testament to the transformative power of sacred ceremony, music, and community.
